Dan Duffy

Dan Duffy was born in Ocean Springs, Mississippi in 1993 and raised in Gautier, Mississippi. His fiction and poetry have appeared in Juked, Farewell Transmission, Nat. Brut, Afternoon Visitor and elsewhere. His poetry was longlisted for the 2023 St. Lawrence Book Award. His past jobs include work as an usher, delivery driver and auto parts puller. He has taught literature and creative writing at the University of Iowa and Austin Community College in Austin, Texas. He graduated with an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from the Iowa Writer’s Workshop and a B.A. from Ole Miss. He lives in Jackson County, Mississippi, where he was born and raised.
