Joseph Daniel Duffy was born and raised in Mississippi. He received his BA from Ole Miss and his MFA from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. His poetry and fiction have appeared in Farewell Transmission, Juked and elsewhere. He lives in Mississippi where he edits the small press Permanent Water.
